A SABBATH PRAYER

The earth has turned so that the sun is no longer visible. At this time of the week, Jesus of Nazareth rested in accordance with his Jewish tradition.

To honor his rest on this day, I offer this prayer:

May the Lord bless you and give you peace.

May harm stay far away from you.

May you know new joy and confidence.

May you find strength during times of stress.

May your faith become your salvation from evil.

May you rest tomorrow or Sunday or some day.
